![]() She has her BICP Ride Leader Certification and enjoys leading group rides through the WMBC JoyRiders, an all women's mountain bike club. Kristin's passion for mountain biking brought her to Bellingham, an area known for having some of the best trail riding in Washington State. From there she joined a team of meteorologists at Praedictix where she produced and disseminated daily weather reports for broadcast media as well as provided severe storm briefings and real-time alerts for local companies and Fortune 500 corporations. That same year she passed a rigorous exam to receive the coveted Certified Broadcast Meteorologist designation recognized by the American Meteorological Society in Boston. In 2011 Kristin helped to launch a new, national weather channel, WeatherNation TV. She went on to forecast the weather for KOAA-TV in Colorado Spring, CO as well as KARE 11 & FOX 9 in Minneapolis, MN. ![]() Kristin earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Meteorology from Pennsylvania State University. This unique perspective gives Kristin a continued love and appreciation for the atmospheric sciences. Kristin grew up in a home filled with her father's weather instruments and where dinner table conversations consisted of impending fronts and storms.
